Dear friends,
at our 9th Jazznight at the Hotel Saratoga, we enjoyed fantastic music from Geoff’s six-piece jazz band, which got us off our chairs and onto the dance floor.
A big and heartfelt thank you to Geoff and his fellow musicians! We had so much fun!
The buffet was plentiful and very tasty, the wine was fine and the raffle prizes were well received by members and guests. Due to the lively music and the diverse commitment of our members, the annual Jazznight is a guarantees for a cheerful evening for all guests.
Thanks to your participation in this evening and also in the raffle and thanks to the dedicated supporters in the form of monetary donations as donations of raffle prizes, the Rotary Club Calvià International was able to raise € 4.900 through the Jazznight this year. Our charitable Rotary Club will increase the donation to the RANA Foundation by € 1.100 to a total of € 6.000.
On this evening we were able to celebrate with Liz and Karl Homberg, founders of the RANA foundation, and a large part of their team and thank these lovely people who take on the prevention of and help with child maltreatment and sexual abuse with so much heart and help professionally. We are proud to be able to support them in their valuable work.
We saw many happy faces at that night and are delighted to have had such an atmospheric and successful Jazznight 2023.
It’s a great feeling to support people of Mallorca, this wonderful island where we live.
