Friendship, nature, and purpose in Es Capdellà – €5,000 raised for Hadas Kids Foundation
Under a bright Mallorcan sun, our Rotary Charity Walk 2025 brought together over 70 participants, plus a few happy four-legged friends, for a day of community, nature, and purpose in beautiful Es Capdellà. Together, we raised an amazing €5,000 for the Hadas Kids Foundation.
Walks for everyone
Fifteen children and fourteen parents took part in our healthy hikes through the stunning Galatzó Public Estate, while others chose the 2 km Family Walk, 4 km Dog Walk, or the 8 km Challenge route. Every step helped support children and families at risk of social exclusion.
Food, music, and smiles
After the walks, we gathered at Sa Vinya Restaurant, where our friends from the 41 Club grilled wood-fired pizzas, burgers, and sausages over charcoal, perfectly complemented by homemade salads lovingly prepared by Rotary Calvià members.
A DJ by the pool set the perfect mood, and the nearby playground gave our youngest walkers space to play. Great conversations, laughter, and refreshing drinks made for a joyful afternoon!
