RANA – Prevention and Support for Sexually Abused Children in Mallorca
Rotary Club Calvia International proudly supports RANA (Red de Ayuda a Niños Abusados), an organization in Mallorca dedicated to preventing and addressing child sexual abuse. RANA works to educate and raise awareness among both children and adults, while also providing support to victims of abuse.
Our Commitment:
Rotary Club Calvia International actively contributes to RANA’s mission through financial support and participation in public awareness and prevention programs. By partnering with RANA, we help spread their vital message and contribute to the safety and well-being of children in Mallorca.
RANA’s Work:
- Prevention Programs in Schools: RANA delivers workshops and training to educate children and teenagers about sexual abuse and empower them to protect themselves in dangerous situations.
- Training for Professionals: Teachers, social workers, and other professionals are trained by RANA to recognize signs of abuse and take appropriate action.
- Psychological Support: RANA offers psychological care and counseling to affected children and their families, helping them heal and move forward.
Our Annual Jazz Night for RANA:
Each autumn, Rotary Club Calvià International organizes a Jazz Night, with all proceeds going directly to support RANA’s work. This event brings our community together through music, while also raising vital funds to help protect children and support those affected by abuse.
Our Impact:
Through our support, RANA has reached numerous children and trained many professionals in prevention and intervention strategies. We are proud to be part of this life-changing work and witness the positive impact it has on our community.
