Welcome to the Inter-Country Committee (ICC) Spain-Austria

At the heart of Rotary’s mission since the 1930s, Inter-Country Committees (ICCs) foster relationships between Rotary districts and clubs across nations. By promoting intercultural understanding and forging friendships between different countries, ICCs contribute to world peace and unity. Their efforts span creating club partnerships, facilitating cross-border projects, and fostering global collaboration.

Although ICCs have a long and impactful history, their contributions are often underrecognized within the Rotary community. The *ICC between Spain and Austria*, founded in September 2021, was initiated by the Rotary Club Calvià International and the Rotary Club Vienna International. Inspired by the rich historical ties between these nations, our mission is to enhance cultural and social relations at the Rotary level.

Our committee actively supports clubs in connecting with international partners for meaningful collaborations. Working together as a united team, we aim to emphasize the importance of peace. Our humanitarian projects address key areas such as *peace and conflict resolution*, which remains a cornerstone of the Rotary Foundation’s focus.
